「the Factor of Hope」ではTVで放送された第1話～第25話とその新規カット、およびBlu-ray&DVD第10巻に収録予定のTV未放送エピソード「True End Episode」を稲羽市で起きた連続誘拐殺人事件を中心に再編集しています。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios.
